Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sandrinho Arantes made the kick off which started today's match. Landi's Jacinto Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandrinho Arantes in the 6th minute of play. Sandrinho Arantes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Sá read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Jacinto Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Loyola in the 11th minute of play. Ivo Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guaraquicaba's Nuno Teixeira got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Sandrinho Arantes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Landi's Jacinto Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 22 minutes, Sandrinho Arantes made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Landi's Jacinto Sá tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ivo Vides came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Landi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Vides couldn't finish the play. If Ivo Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Landi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guaraquicaba were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivo Vides to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Sá came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaraquicaba's Sandrinho Arantes. But to his dismay, Sandrinho Arantes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Sandrinho Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonsinho Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Afonsinho Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sandrinho Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th match minute, Landi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Vides to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes Guaraquicaba got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Rosa. Silvinho Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The throw-in from Vito Vargas in the 76th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Landi's Humberto de Medeiros. Ivo Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Meireles having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Nuno Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Catarinense in the 86th minute of the match. Gláuber Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Hélder de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Guaraquicaba supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Guaraquicaba would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
