Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Landi's Ivo Vides started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Landi's Jacinto Sá got control of the ball when Deivid Quadros tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Fred de Brito reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacinto Sá. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 19th minute, Afonsinho Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Landi's Jacinto Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred de Brito in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Landi's Humberto de Medeiros got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Landi's goal looked a bit too open when Fred de Brito came free, but Jacinto Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Ivo Vides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Landi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fidelis the free kick. In the 35th match minute, Landi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Vides to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Sá didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Azevedo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Valério Azevedo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacinto Sá. The goal made the score 4-0. 47 minutes into the match, Valério Azevedo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Landi's Jacinto Sá. Jacinto Sá was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Landi's Jacinto Sá played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred de Brito in the 53rd minute of play. Fred de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Sá having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Landi's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Quadros came free, but Jacinto Sá reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Landi's Humberto de Medeiros got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes, Fidelis's Sandro Macedo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacinto Sá came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fidelis reached it. Jacinto Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 68 played minutes Landi got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho Lira. After 71 minutes of play, Fidelis's Valério Azevedo made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Sá was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Landi's zone, Valério Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Sá came out of the goal and Valério Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Azevedo in the 86th minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Fidelis's Valério Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. There was no doubt that Fidelis were the better team. Fidelis's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
