He walked away shaking his head. Reação São Paulina's Dadá Macedo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jerônimo Proença in the 20 minute of the game. 21 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Jacinto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frank Valladares. Oswaldo Jacinto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 32 played minutes Reação São Paulina got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Alvarenga. In the 34th minute, Dadá Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute João Pedro Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo Paes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Grêmio dos Canudos EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Reação São Paulina.
