Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Enio Tande got the match started through his kick off. Murillo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Cássio Cardoso hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Enio Tande took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murillo Veloso. Murillo Veloso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Carvalhos's Natã Mangueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Carvalhos from getting a goal against them. Murillo Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Ibitiguaia's goal looked a bit too open when Enio Tande came free, but Murillo Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibitiguaia's Murillo Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Secco in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiaguinho Seco in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natã Mangueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kiko Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ibitiguaia's protests and gave Kiko Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Ibitiguaia:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carvalhos:s goal. Murillo Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enio Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Carvalhos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiaguinho Seco was the one to do the kick off. Douglas Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Veloso having to interfere. Nando Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maicon Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Natã Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Seco in the 62nd minute of play. In the 72nd minute Amauri Secco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Veloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Carvalhos's Enio Tande slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Murillo Veloso. That made the score 0-2 after 80 minutes of play. In the 84th minute Luiz Eduardo Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Natã Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Eduardo Aguiar in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Ibitiguaia's goalkeeper Murillo Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nando Toledo. Maicon Neto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Murillo Veloso came out and tried to block the shot, but Maicon Neto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 92nd minute.
