When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Edvaldo Netto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Matías Silveira to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvaldo Netto in the 15th minute of play forced Gragoatá F.C.'s goalkeeper Matías Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvaldo Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Matías Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Real Safira C.F's zone, Pedro Eger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amauri Fernandes came out of the goal and Pedro Eger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amauri Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amauri Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Pedro Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amauri Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Eger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Real Safira C.F's Diguinho Vander got a free kick in the 41st minute. Claudinei Antunes's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Amauri Fernandes on his right side and into the goal. 42 minutes into the game it was 1-1.

Matías Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Gragoatá F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. João Adolfo Chaves hit a great ball. Edvaldo Netto struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Matías Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Safira C.F. Matías Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Netto in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Pedro Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Fernandes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Real Safira C.F fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gragoatá F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
