Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zé Carlos da Cunha kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Vasconcelos got free with Jorginho Nogueira in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Carlos da Cunha in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Loureiro saved Itarema EC from getting behind. In the 8th minute, Albertinho Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Júlio Vasconcelos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorginho Nogueira. Caverna dos Dragões's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Júlio Vasconcelos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 18thth minute of the game Edu Miranda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caverna dos Dragões's Jorginho Nogueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albertinho Silva hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Júlio Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorginho Nogueira having to make a save. Edu Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Nogueira having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Edu Miranda dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jorginho Nogueira, 2-1. Júlio Vasconceloss short, quick shot in the 48thth minute got Jorginho Nogueira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edu Miranda made a kick off. When Kaká Severo fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itarema EC's protests and gave Kaká Severo a yellow card for diving instead. Kaká Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute of the match, Chicão Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jeremias Loureiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Júlio Vasconcelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Nogueira having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Júlio Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chicão Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Jorge Chaves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Itarema EC's Jeremias Loureiro didn't even have to move. Caverna dos Dragões's Jorginho Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Vasconcelos in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Itarema EC's Kaká Severo got a free kick in the 85th minute. A hard shot 92 in the game by Chicão Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Jeremias Loureiro managed to make a qualified save. Itarema EC's players were relieved. In the 96th minute of the match Itarema EC got a corner. Caverna dos Dragões's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roger Tinoco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Itarema EC's Roger Tinoco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jorginho Nogueira in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Itarema EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Caverna dos Dragões for a fine match.
