The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind All-Star FC's goalkeeper Guga Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Wilson Vale came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the All-Star FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Vale couldn't finish the play. Raí Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ernesto Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes MANAGER MANIPULA RESULTAD got a freekick which was hit by Fábio da Silveira. A collision led to MANAGER MANIPULA RESULTAD getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Geovanni Saldanha hit a great ball. Ernesto Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in All-Star FC reached it. Wilson Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cacá Gaúcho to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Adolfo Furtado in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guga Velloso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Afonsinho Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored All-Star FC's protests and gave Afonsinho Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, All-Star FC's Afonsinho Abraão got a free kick in the 58th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Raí Ferreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ernesto Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raí Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, MANAGER MANIPULA RESULTAD's goalkeeper Ernesto Queiroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raí Ferreira. MANAGER MANIPULA RESULTAD were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of All-Star FC for a fine match.
