Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcinho Rocha started the match with the kick off. Celsinho Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Rocha in the 4th minute of play. Marcinho Rocha struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Celsinho Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warriors4EVER. São Paulo's Celsinho Tinoco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save São Paulo from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, São Paulo's Celsinho Tinoco got control of the ball when Donnie Zettiņš tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcinho Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Celsinho Tinoco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcinho Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd minute, Zé Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rômulo Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the São Paulo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rômulo Lopes couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Warriors4EVER's Eliézer Netto got a free kick in the 26th minute. 35 minutes into the match, São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Rocha came free, but Celsinho Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Zé Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dráuzio Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dráuzio Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Warriors4EVER! In the 40th minute there was a penalty for São Paulo. Wesley Mendonça stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Frank da Cunha. 0-2. Warriors4EVER's Natã Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donnie Zettiņšs short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Celsinho Tinoco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Baptista made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Donnie Zettiņš came free, but Celsinho Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Marcinho Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Warriors4EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcinho Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the São Paulo defense, Donnie Zettiņš kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celsinho Tinoco. The São Paulo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celsinho Tinoco should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Rossi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Paulo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Warriors4EVER the free kick. The supporters of Warriors4EVER booed when São Paulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Faustão Galvão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celsinho Tinoco skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Warriors4EVER getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Natã Quirino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Zé Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. São Paulo's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Warriors4EVER's Frank da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Baptista in the 75th minute of play. Natã Quirino hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Marcinho Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celsinho Tinoco. São Paulo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcinho Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Dráuzio Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Rogério Ferraz fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo's protests and gave Rogério Ferraz a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for São Paulo! Rômulo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Warriors4EVER's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
