Spectators: 6666 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dinei Barbosa kicked off to start the match. Álvaro Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Amílton Gerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sandrinho Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinei Barbosa in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilson Castro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Tubaroes booed when Bento FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Bento FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dinei Barbosa came free, but Gilson Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Tubaroes's Gilson Castro threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dinei Barbosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Amílton Gerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Galvão in the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Júnior Galvão made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Júnior Galvão reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amílton Gerber. The goal made the score 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Sandrinho Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bento FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandrinho Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílton Gerber breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Júnior Galvão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Sandrinho Barbosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Amílton Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandrinho Barbosa got free with Amílton Gerber in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amílton Gerber was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Júnior Galvão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Júnior Galvão really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 87 minutes into the match, Tubaroes's goalkeeper Amílton Gerber had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandrinho Barbosa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandrinho Barbosa got free with Amílton Gerber in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Tubaroes's zone, Álvaro Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílton Gerber came out of the goal and Álvaro Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
