After having played for 2 minutes, Zé Paulo Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibaretama AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Breno Paranaense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Paulo Faria in the 8th minute of play forced Calates Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Francisco da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Álvaro Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco da Silva having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Zé Paulo Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibaretama AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Paulo Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 12 played minutes Calates Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Valladares. Francisco da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Paulo Faria's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 15th match minute, Calates Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Gabriel Valladares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calates Futebol Clube and the Ibaretama AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 minutes of play, Calates Futebol Clube's Betinho Camargo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Breno Paranaense was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Carlos Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Borges in the 32nd minute of play. Carlos Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Breno Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dé Trigo in the 41st minute of play forced Calates Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Francisco da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco da Silva came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibaretama AD's Zé Paulo Faria. But to his dismay, Zé Paulo Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Paulo Faria made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Álvaro Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibaretama AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco da Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Álvaro Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Francisco da Silva made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Betinho Camargo made a precise shot to the right of Breno Paranaense. Ibaretama AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Francisco da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Faria in the 65th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Remo Fernandez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Francisco da Silva quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee gave Ibaretama AD a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Remo Fernandez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Calates Futebol Clube's Francisco da Silva. 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ibaretama AD's Yuri Maciel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco da Silva. That made the score 2-3 after 78 minutes of play. When Álvaro Borges came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Ibaretama AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Álvaro Borges couldn't finish the play. Dé Trigo's late challenge caught a Calates Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dé Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. Dé Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Calates Futebol Clube's Christiano da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calates Futebol Clube's Francisco da Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Calates Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The Calates Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ibaretama AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Ibaretama AD.
