Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5461, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 145) Pedrinho Sergipano made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Pedrinho Sergipano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Iacaia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Chute Certo FC's Juan Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Sergipano in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Gilvan Varela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Veloso. Gilvan Varela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 14 played minutes Chute Certo FC got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Moreira. Sérgio Trevisan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juan Veloso. Chute Certo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 21st minute, Chute Certo FC's Frédson Fontes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Frédson Fontes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chute Certo FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Frédson Fontes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Chute Certo FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Frédson Fontes hit a great ball. Juan Veloso made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gilvan Varela sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, Gilvan Varela made a precise shot to the right of Juan Veloso. Chute Certo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Chute Certo FC's Dinei Arantes got a free kick in the 41st minute. Juan Veloso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sérgio Trevisan. When Pedrinho Sergipano came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Iacaia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedrinho Sergipano couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Sergipano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Juan Veloso. Pedrinho Sergipano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Juan Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Sergipano in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gilberto de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chute Certo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto de Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 60 played minutes Chute Certo FC got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Berger. If Gilberto de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrinho Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Juan Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Sergipano in the 70th minute of play. Juan Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Iacaia's Jailson de Azevedo got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Gilberto de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Varela in the 81st minute of play forced Chute Certo FC's goalkeeper Juan Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amauri Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Chute Certo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Sergipano came free, but Juan Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Veloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Favoretto in the 92nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chute Certo FC's Claudinei Meira got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 97 played minutes, Iacaia's Sérgio Trevisan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juan Veloso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Iacaia reached it. Iacaia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
