Cafu Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Santana in the 14th minute of play. Cafu Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christiano Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Imbuial's Adhemar Soeiro got control of the ball when Bernardinho Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Imbuial's Adhemar Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo de Lara in the 22nd minute of play. Vladimir da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Imbuial's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimir da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Vladimir da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cafu Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Bernardinho Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiano Santana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cafu Barbosa having to make a save. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pussycat Dolls's goalkeeper Cafu Barbosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Murillo de Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Imbuial getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Dinei Rocha hit a great ball. If Miguel Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Imbuial's Adhemar Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo de Lara in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Miguel Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imbuial's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pussycat Dolls the free kick. Miguel Martins kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Adhemar Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Mangueira in the 64th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardinho Mangueira in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adhemar Soeiro saved Imbuial from getting behind. With a little luck, Pussycat Dolls's Cafu Barbosa got control of the ball when Felipe Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Felipe Palmeira came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Imbuial fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Palmeira couldn't finish the play. Felipe Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Barbosa having to interfere. With his leg Cafu Barbosa managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Imbuial's Felipe Palmeira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
