Diamantino Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Luís Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamantino Quadros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Luís Bezerra made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Maria Paraense got free with Luís Bezerra in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joaquim Gaúcho hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Joaquim Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mimosos's Luís Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Gaúcho in the 35th minute of play. Luís Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Brasil in the 36th minute of play. Rodrigo de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Balesio in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquim Gaúcho made a kick off. Diamantino Quadros hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Rodrigo de Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Balesio in the 53rd minute of the match. Almir Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo de Souza having to interfere. Hermínio Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute José Maria Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Bezerra came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ferraz FC's Joaquim Gaúcho. But to his dismay, Joaquim Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Ferraz FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
