Moisés de Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moisés de Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Renato Linares was the one to do the kick off. After 61 minutes of play, Lorena's Elder Melo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caco Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elder Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caco Lopez having to interfere. When Geovani Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Lorena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geovani Ceresso couldn't finish the play. Cícero Trancoso scored 2-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yuri Falcão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 79 minutes, Elder Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lorena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elder Melo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elder Melos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Caco Lopez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 84thth minute of the game Elder Melo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brejo Alegre Futebol Club's Caco Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Lorena:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brejo Alegre Futebol Club:s goal. Yuri Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yuri Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Negri in the 98th minute of the match.
