Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Douglas Mello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Douglas Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cafu Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cafu Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 played minutes Pussycat Dolls got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Sanches. Oswaldo de Amaral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murillo de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Pussycat Dolls's Murillo de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Bernardinho Mangueira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douglas Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cafu Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo de Amaral having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match Haroldo Mandrak shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafu Barbosa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 46th match minute, Pussycat Dolls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Sanches to maneuver through the defense. In the 48thth minute of the game Douglas Mello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pussycat Dolls's Cafu Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Murillo de Lara made the kick off in the second half. Furia Tricolor 's Reginaldo Pimenta pulled a muscle in his back after 52 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 52 minutes, Luan Lopes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pussycat Dolls and the Furia Tricolor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alberto Brasil charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Brasil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 67 minutes, Raí de Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Furia Tricolor and the Pussycat Dolls players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, one of Furia Tricolor :s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Furia Tricolor . The referee gave Pussycat Dolls a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by João Paulo Brodel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Furia Tricolor 's Oswaldo de Amaral. 2-0. Oswaldo de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Santanas short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Cafu Barbosa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo de Lara in the 81st minute of play forced Furia Tricolor 's goalkeeper Oswaldo de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Douglas Mello came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Furia Tricolor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Mello couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, Fred Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furia Tricolor 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Furia Tricolor 's Oswaldo de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo de Lara in the 98th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Furia Tricolor players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pussycat Dolls.
