Dinei Rocha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Yuri Falcão made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, Lorena's goalkeeper Yuri Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Palmeira. In the 9th minute Christiano Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Falcão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Elder Melo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adhemar Soeiro was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Adhemar Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Azevedo in the 15th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Christiano Santana took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Yuri Falcão to make any attempt to save it. Yuri Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christiano Santana in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Azevedo in the 30th minute of play forced Imbuial's goalkeeper Adhemar Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Viana kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. When Elder Melo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Lorena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elder Melo couldn't finish the play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elder Melo made a kick off. A collision led to Imbuial getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tostão Tavares hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Lorena's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Santana came free, but Yuri Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Lorena's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Palmeira came free, but Yuri Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clóvis Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Clóvis Freire came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Lorena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis Freire couldn't finish the play. Elder Melo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Adhemar Soeiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Felipe Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Palmeira hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The supporters of Imbuial booed when Lorena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Imbuial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Viana to maneuver through the defense. Lorena's Elder Melo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 86 minutes in the game, fortunately Adhemar Soeiro had problems saving as it came toward the left post. A collision led to Imbuial getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Miguel Martins hit a great ball. The supporters of Imbuial booed when Lorena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, Imbuial's Tales Linares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yuri Falcão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Imbuial reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Imbuial's zone, Elder Melo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adhemar Soeiro came out of the goal and Elder Melo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elder Melo got free with Adhemar Soeiro in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adhemar Soeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elder Melo's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
