Tiago Gabriel Mattos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Renatinho Fontes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Gabriel Mattos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Nego Beiço F.C's corner Duda do Vale fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Renatinho Fontes quite easily take care of the ball. Leandro Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Renatinho Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Doriva de Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Entremontes's protests and gave Doriva de Queirós a yellow card for diving instead.
