Nacional Futebol Clube's Igor Araújo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Nacional Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Marcus Simão made the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Araújo having to interfere. Nacional Futebol Clube's Igor Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Simão in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Melo in the 79th minute of play forced Nacional Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Igor Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Simão in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Igor Araújo saved Nacional Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 82ndth minute of the game Marcus Simão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nacional Futebol Clube's Igor Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute of the match Zé Carlos Vergílio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Araújo skillfully saved the ball. Jacurutu AD's Rodrigo Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacurutu AD's Wellington do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Didi Tepedino in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Nacional Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Melo came free, but Igor Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
