The Internacional fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Internacional's Cipriano Tavares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Internacional's Andrézinho Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 69 minutes, Andrézinho Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internacional's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrézinho Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. R10 SOCCER's Hernani Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Tavares in the 76th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Cipriano Tavares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but R10 SOCCER's Hernani Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Internacional's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
