Democratico F.C.'s Jerônimo Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan Quadros in the 15th minute of play. Gilvan Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jerônimo Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeferson França hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Márcio Braga from a close distance when the talented Deivid Paraense managed to make a qualified save. Coiotes Club MZ's players were relieved. In the 25th match minute, Democratico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gláuber Toscano to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Jeferson França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Coiotes Club MZ booed when Democratico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Queirós didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luiz Fernando Oliveira made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Gláuber Toscano suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of Democratico F.C. booed when Coiotes Club MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Guedes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerônimo Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fernando Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Gilvan Quadros who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Jerônimo Barros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Gilvan Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Luiz Fernando Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Coiotes Club MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fernando Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Severino Guedes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Democratico F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Eger. 71 minutes into the match, Coiotes Club MZ's Ricardo Vargas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Coiotes Club MZ booed when Democratico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fábio Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Márcio Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Márcio Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Jeferson França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Vargas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Luiz Fábio Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Coiotes Club MZ's Severino Guedes got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Cristóvão Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Márcio Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Deivid Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
