The crowd rose to their feet as Coiotes Club MZ's Luiz Fernando Oliveira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerônimo Barros. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. Deivid Paraense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélio Eger went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Márcio Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gilvan Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Coiotes Club MZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilvan Quadros couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Gilvan Quadros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerônimo Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 36thth minute of the game Hélio Eger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coiotes Club MZ's Deivid Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélio Eger struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Deivid Paraense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Democratico F.C.. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Coiotes Club MZ's Luiz Fernando Oliveira in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 66th minute, Luiz Fernando Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Oliveira in the 77th minute of play forced Democratico F.C.'s goalkeeper Jerônimo Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilvan Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Barros having to interfere. Gilvan Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerônimo Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The supporters of Coiotes Club MZ booed when Democratico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerônimo Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Quadros in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Democratico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeferson França to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 97 minutes, Gilvan Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coiotes Club MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilvan Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Democratico F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Osmar Queirós in the 102nd minute. Coiotes Club MZ's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
