Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hélio Eger made the kick off and thus started the match. Democratico F.C.'s Jerônimo Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Democratico F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 7thth minute of the game Moisés Vieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Democratico F.C.'s Jerônimo Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moisés Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Buturussu FC's Lúcio Peres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerônimo Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Moisés Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lúcio Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jerônimo Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Democratico F.C.'s Gláuber Toscano got a free kick in the 24th minute. Clemente Ceresso came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Democratico F.C.'s Márcio Braga. But to his dismay, Márcio Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Diogo das Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jerônimo Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerônimo Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Vieira in the 40th minute of the match. Jerônimo Barros came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Buturussu FC's Moisés Vieira. But to his dismay, Moisés Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jerônimo Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diogo das Neves in the 44th minute of play. Lúcio Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Moisés Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Barros having to interfere. Jerônimo Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Peres in the 60th minute of play. Moisés Vieira struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jerônimo Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buturussu FC. Lúcio Peres might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerônimo Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lúcio Peres ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Democratico F.C.'s zone, Caio de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerônimo Barros came out of the goal and Caio de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moisés Vieira in the 73rd minute of play forced Democratico F.C.'s goalkeeper Jerônimo Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Buturussu FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Travassos. Jerônimo Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Vieira in the 79th minute of play. Lúcio Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moisés Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Jerônimo Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerônimo Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luís Guilherme Queirós went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Buturussu FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
