Eliézer Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Cardoso in the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Universidade Capixaba defense, Luiz Fernando Oliveira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliézer Neves. The Universidade Capixaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliézer Neves should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes Coiotes Club MZ got a freekick which was hit by Severino Guedes. Universidade Capixaba's Fellipe Ortiz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Deivid Paraense but with some difficulty. After 26 minutes, Cristóvão Cardoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coiotes Club MZ and the Universidade Capixaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Coiotes Club MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. When Durval Catarinense came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Universidade Capixaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durval Catarinense couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Durval Catarinense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliézer Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Fernando Oliveira went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luiz Gustavo Pirani's late challenge caught a Coiotes Club MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Gustavo Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Universidade Capixaba's Luiz Gustavo Pirani got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Augusto Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Severino Guedes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Coiotes Club MZ's Severino Guedes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durval Catarinense in the 55th minute of play forced Coiotes Club MZ's goalkeeper Deivid Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Universidade Capixaba's Eliézer Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Cardoso in the 58th minute of play. Deivid Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Amorim in the 59th minute of the match. Gilvan Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Neves having to interfere. When Gilvan Quadros fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coiotes Club MZ's protests and gave Gilvan Quadros a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Coiotes Club MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Quadros to maneuver through the defense. João Augusto Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Deivid Paraense having to make a save. In the 70th minute, Luiz Fernando Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Coiotes Club MZ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gilvan Quadross short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Eliézer Neves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 81 minutes into the game, Luiz Fernando Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coiotes Club MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Universidade Capixaba the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Coiotes Club MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fernando Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. After 85 minutes of play, Universidade Capixaba's Durval Catarinense made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deivid Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilvan Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Eliézer Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Augusto Amorim in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deivid Paraense saved Coiotes Club MZ from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Coiotes Club MZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
