Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Lapa's Carlos Cabral started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rafael Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Cabral in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the game, Carlos Cabral lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Rafael Romero. In the 8th minute, Carlos Cabral fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rafael Romero, passed just outside the right post. Edu Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rafael Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dorival Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernani Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A hard shot 15 in the game by Carlos Cabral from a close distance when the talented Rafael Romero managed to make a qualified save. AC Wolves's players were relieved. José Pedro Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lapa's Carlos Cabral suffered a concussion in the 18th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Luís Fernando Félix fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Wolves's protests and gave Luís Fernando Félix a yellow card for diving instead. Lapa made a substitution. Beto Bueno replaced Carlos Cabral. Jeferson Prata shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After a defensive mix-up in AC Wolves's zone, Beto Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Romero came out of the goal and Beto Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Edu Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lapa's supporters rose to their feet, but Edu Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Rafael Romero managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Lapa's Beto Bueno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Beto Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Romero having to make a save. If Beto Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the game, Jeferson Prata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rafael Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Dorival Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Lapa's Beto Bueno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Romero. That made the score 3-0 after 46 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorival Fantini to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, AC Wolves's Duda Maranhense got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 54 played minutes AC Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Fantini. After having played for 55 minutes, Beto Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beto Bueno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 57 played minutes Lapa got a freekick which was hit by Beto Bueno. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Bueno in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Romero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beto Bueno in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Romero saved AC Wolves from getting behind. Dorival Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duda Maranhense's late challenge caught a Lapa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duda Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th match minute, AC Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duda Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the AC Wolves defense, Beto Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Romero. The AC Wolves fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Romero should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Beto Bueno put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rafael Romero. In the 77th match minute, AC Wolves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Valladares to maneuver through the defense. Beto Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When José Pedro Cardozo came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Lapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Cardozo couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, AC Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Bueno came free, but Rafael Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 played minutes Lapa got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Cearense. Beto Bueno struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rafael Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lapa.
