Muirapinima FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimir Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 16th minute of the match, Fellipe Negri tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cléber Duarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 19 minutes into the match, Tsunamy's Fellipe Negri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cléber Duarte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fellipe Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Massa in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rony Prata saved Tsunamy from getting behind. In the 51st match minute, Tsunamy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladimir Negri to maneuver through the defense. When Abel Massa came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Muirapinima FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Massa couldn't finish the play. Luís Paulo Amaral struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rony Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muirapinima FC. Dé Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dé Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Cléber Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muirapinima FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
