Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Fellipe Negri started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Tsunamy's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Reis came free, but Rony Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fellipe Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 8 minutes into the match, Tsunamy's Fellipe Negri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrick Souza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrick Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dé Simão in the 9th minute. Almir Breckenfeld kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Itapiruna SC's zone, Fellipe Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Souza came out of the goal and Fellipe Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tsunamy's Kauã Arce got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Vladimir Negri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tsunamy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapiruna SC the free kick. Gualter Teles was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Patrick Souza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dé Simão in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Almir Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Itapiruna SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tsunamy the free kick. After 21 played minutes Itapiruna SC got a freekick which was hit by Almir Breckenfeld. Patrick Souza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dé Simão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. If Dé Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tsunamy's goalkeeper Rony Prata, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dé Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Patrick Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fellipe Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Souza having to interfere. If Dé Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Paulo Maranhense to make the kick off. Horácio Reis took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rony Prata. Rony Prata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 59th play minute Horácio Reis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rony Prata. 2-2. Tsunamy's Edgard Torres pulled a muscle in his back after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When José Paulo Maranhense fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapiruna SC's protests and gave José Paulo Maranhense a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tsunamy booed when Itapiruna SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Paulo Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dé Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Souza having to interfere. Horácio Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Rony Prata made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Horácio Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapiruna SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horácio Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rony Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 96th minute, José Paulo Maranhense fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Horácio Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Itapiruna SC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
