Spectators: 6441 (Terracing: 5441, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Claudinho Pombal started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Kléberson Recife cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Francisco Cearense was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Moinhos ES getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Affan Akbaşak hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, United Foxes's Gernando da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgar Cearense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gernando da Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Cearense having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Moinhos ES's Claudinho Pombal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Cearense. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. João Pedro Rocha took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Cearense. Edgar Cearense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in United Foxes's zone, Claudinho Pombal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Cearense came out of the goal and Claudinho Pombal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Moinhos ES's Claudinho Pombal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Francisco Cearense. That made the score 3-1 after 33 minutes of play. If Kléberson Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudinho Pombal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Cearense having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Moinhos ES's Kléberson Recife dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho Pombal got free with Francisco Cearense in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Pedro Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Cearense having to interfere. In the 56th minute, João Francisco Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Cearense came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Moinhos ES's Kléberson Recife. But to his dismay, Kléberson Recife quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After 65 played minutes, Moinhos ES's Remo Lira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Cearense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moinhos ES reached it. Claudinho Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Kléberson Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moinhos ES's supporters rose to their feet, but Kléberson Recife was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germano Gaúcho's late challenge caught a United Foxes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germano Gaúcho helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 74 minutes, Gernando da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. United Foxes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gernando da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moinhos ES's Claudinho Pombal got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinho Pombal took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Cearense. Francisco Cearense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. João Pedro Rocha hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Kléberson Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Moinhos ES had played much better football throughout.
