The referee ignored Jales FC's protests and gave Eliseu da Costa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Jales FC's Eliseu da Costa got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the game, Gualter Perez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aílton Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jânio Trevisan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Toledo having to interfere. Jânio Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tafu FC's zone, Glauco Aguiar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kléberson Toledo came out of the goal and Glauco Aguiar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Glauco Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kléberson Toledo having to interfere. Glauco Aguiar kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 20thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Tafu FC's keeper Kléberson Toledo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 21st match minute, Tafu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas da Rocha to maneuver through the defense. If Jânio Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Jales FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Glauco Aguiar hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Borges during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Tales Miranda from long distance, 30 minutes into the match, got Kléberson Toledo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tafu FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jânio Trevisan 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Cássio Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Jales FC's Jânio Trevisan in the 39th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Kléberson Toledo was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Tafu FC through an amazing save. Glauco Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 43 played minutes Tafu FC got a freekick which was hit by Douglas da Rocha. 45 minutes into the game, Jales FC's Glauco Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kléberson Toledo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jânio Trevisan to strike the kick off in the second half. Aílton Cardozo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualter Perez, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Pedro Luís Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Jânio Trevisan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléberson Toledo. Tafu FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jânio Trevisan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Jânio Trevisan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kléberson Toledo having to make a save. In the 64thth minute of the game Glauco Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tafu FC's Kléberson Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Douglas da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Pedro Luís Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Tafu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Brasil couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tafu FC's Erik Simão got a free kick in the 79th minute. Kléberson Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Glauco Aguiar's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Pedro Luís Brasil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aílton Cardozo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Glauco Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Jânio Trevisan put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kléberson Toledo.
