The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André Melo during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rubens Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Olavo Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Claudinho Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aldeinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinho Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ZÜÖ ÖÜZ's Nico Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu Breckenfeld in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cafu Breckenfeld made the kick off in the second half. Cafu Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Nico Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Leandro Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nico Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betinho da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. With his leg Olavo Medeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when ZÜÖ ÖÜZ's Rubens Tepedino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aldeinha's Olavo Medeiros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Aldeinha from getting a goal against them. ZÜÖ ÖÜZ's Nico Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Gomes in the 76th minute of play. Nico Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinho Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafu Breckenfeld in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nico Zonta saved ZÜÖ ÖÜZ from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu Breckenfeld in the 90th minute of play forced ZÜÖ ÖÜZ's goalkeeper Nico Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Gomes struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Nico Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldeinha. After having played for 95 minutes, Leandro Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZÜÖ ÖÜZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leandro Dionísio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ZÜÖ ÖÜZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ZÜÖ ÖÜZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
