In the 3rdth minute of the game Afonsinho Cosme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Star Wings's Beto Damião was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 5th minute, Afonsinho Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beto Damião was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 9 played minutes Black Star Wings got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Neto. Afonsinho Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Damião having to interfere. Beto Damião showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Vale in the 13th minute of the match. Black Star Wings's Beto Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Prata in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SaoPauloFC's Silvinho Vale got a free kick in the 16th minute. After some careless play in the Black Star Wings defense, Afonsinho Cosme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Damião. The Black Star Wings fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Damião should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Afonsinho Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beto Damião made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonsinho Cosme in the 26th minute of play. Beto Damião took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giuseppe Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Afonsinho Cosme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SaoPauloFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Wanderson Freire was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulisses Trancoso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 32 minute of play. In the 40th minute Afonsinho Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Damião saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Black Star Wings's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Prata came free, but Beto Damião reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beto Damião showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonsinho Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. When Silvinho Vale came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SaoPauloFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvinho Vale couldn't finish the play. Black Star Wings's Beto Damião played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Cosme in the 45th minute of play. If Silvinho Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonsinho Cosme made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Cosme lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Beto Damião. 56 minutes into the match, Black Star Wings's goalkeeper Beto Damião had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonsinho Cosme. In the 58th play minute Afonsinho Cosme came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Beto Damião. 1-5. Beto Damião was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Giuseppe Prata capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Giuseppe Prata really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6. Beto Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonsinho Cosme got free with Beto Damião in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ulisses Trancoso hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Beto Damião stood somewhat misplaced when Afonsinho Cosme came free in front of goal and shot 1-9 to the left of him in the 81 minute. SaoPauloFC's Fiori Martins was substituted for Caco Prestes. Beto Damião made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Afonsinho Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Romeu Massa hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match was over SaoPauloFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Black Star Wings throughout the match.
