Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Laerte Antunes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte Antunes couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Cacá Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinto EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá Tande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olavo Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldeinha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cacá Tande was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
