But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haroldo de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Doni Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Léo Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Adalberto Goiano came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the União Dos Renegados F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adalberto Goiano couldn't finish the play. After 29 played minutes BOI BRABO FC got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Neto. Doni Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th match minute, União Dos Renegados F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo de Alcântara took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavinho Urbano. Flavinho Urbano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Válter Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Adelino Matorin charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adelino Matorin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 49th match minute, União Dos Renegados F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Matorin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in União Dos Renegados F.C's zone, Haroldo de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavinho Urbano came out of the goal and Haroldo de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Haroldo de Alcântara was the one to do the kick off. Flavinho Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo de Alcântara in the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Haroldo de Alcântara notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of União Dos Renegados F.C's Flavinho Urbano. Flavinho Urbano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fausto Dracena hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Léo Cardoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doni Braga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo de Alcântara in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Flavinho Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavinho Urbano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes União Dos Renegados F.C got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Pinheiro. Haroldo de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Flavinho Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of União Dos Renegados F.C booed when BOI BRABO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Adalberto Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. União Dos Renegados F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Léo Cardoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
