Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Gino Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Veiga in the 6th minute of the match. Agostinho Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 10 minutes, Tostão Cosme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brancos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tostão Cosme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agostinho Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marquinhos Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Eagles AC's Alessandro Nóbrega got control of the ball when Agostinho Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agostinho Faria was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Agostinho Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Nóbrega having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Eliézer Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eagles AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brancos FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Eagles AC's Eliézer Monteiro got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Eagles AC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Afonsinho Sampaio hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the game, Benê Antunes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brancos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eagles AC the free kick. A collision led to Brancos FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Claudinei Mendonça hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Toninho Oliveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gino Mota skillfully saved the ball. Agostinho Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Raimundo Arce made a precise shot to the right of Gino Mota. Brancos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tostão Cosme to make the kick off. If Tostão Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 52 played minutes Brancos FC got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Tepedino. Gino Mota came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Eagles AC's Raimundo Arce. But to his dismay, Raimundo Arce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Raimundo Arce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gino Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Raimundo Arce dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gino Mota, 0-3. Brancos FC's Agostinho Faria got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enio Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tostão Cosme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alessandro Nóbrega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Marquinhos Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gino Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle went the supporters of Eagles AC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Brancos FC side.
