Luiz Guilherme Neto started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes into the match, JMS Bileca's goalkeeper Jacinto Recife had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago Velloso. With a little luck, JMS Bileca's Jacinto Recife got control of the ball when Thiago Velloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Calamar's Jacinto Recife threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Juarês Salgado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute, Thiago Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Guilherme Neto struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Afonso Vasconcelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JMS Bileca. Jacinto Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. JMS Bileca's Zé Paulo Madureira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Dedê Fernandez in the 30 minute of the game. Luiz Fernando Trigo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Jacinto Recife made a huge save. In the 34th minute, Juarês Salgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calamar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 38th minute, Thiago Velloso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jacinto Recife. The goal made the score 3-1. Jacinto Recife came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Calamar's Reginaldo Trevisan. But to his dismay, Reginaldo Trevisan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Luiz Guilherme Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

JMS Bileca's Jacinto Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reginaldo Trevisan in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Calamar's Reginaldo Trevisan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Recife made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Luiz Guilherme Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the JMS Bileca defense, Juarês Salgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Recife. The JMS Bileca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Recife should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Velloso in the 69th minute of play forced JMS Bileca's goalkeeper Jacinto Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, JMS Bileca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Guilherme Neto to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in JMS Bileca's zone, Wesley de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Recife came out of the goal and Wesley de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After 81 minutes of play, Calamar's Reginaldo Trevisan made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Recife was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 85th minute Thiago Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Luiz Fernando Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Recife. JMS Bileca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fernando Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Jacinto Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
