Juvenal Tande's late challenge caught a Orcs of City FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juvenal Tande helped the player get up and apologised. After 5 played minutes Apuhy got a freekick which was hit by Juvenal Tande. A hard shot by Andrézinho Neves from long distance, 6 minutes into the match, got Edmílson Ribeiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Luís Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Quintal in the 8th minute of the match. Edmílson Ribeiro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eduardo Trancoso. In the 13thth minute of the game Conrado Quintal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orcs of City FC's Luís Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Orcs of City FC's Andrézinho Neves got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 15 minutes, Conrado Quintal made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Orcs of City FC's Luís Penha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Juvenal Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Luís Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Conrado Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Penha was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Conrado Quintal put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Penha. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Conrado Quintal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Apuhy's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Quintal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Orcs of City FC's zone, Natanael Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Penha came out of the goal and Natanael Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Orcs of City FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Apuhy were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Quintal to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Conrado Quintal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Penha. Conrado Quintal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Carlos Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Penha having to interfere. Carlos Fernando Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Orcs of City FC's Luís Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Senna in the 62nd minute of play. If Juvenal Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Quintal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Luís Penha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Conrado Quintals short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Luís Penha to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Conrado Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Apuhy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Quintal couldn't finish the play. Conrado Quintal struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Luís Penha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apuhy. The audience was convinced that Conrado Quintal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luís Penha was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 86th minute, Carlos Coelho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edmílson Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeremias Sampaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Edmílson Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apuhy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
