After a rather tough play, PQL F.C.'s André Luiz Gomes got a free kick in the 6th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Abel Pirani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Recife. JMS Bileca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Pirani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute Zeca Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JMS Bileca's Jacinto Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Simões in the 16th minute of play. Jacinto Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artur Capixaba went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jacinto Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Melo in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Capixaba in the 25th minute of play forced JMS Bileca's goalkeeper Jacinto Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Capixaba in the 30th minute of the match. JMS Bileca's Jacinto Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeca Simões in the 33rd minute of play. Jacinto Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, JMS Bileca's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Simões came free, but Jacinto Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PQL F.C.'s Marcos Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Capixaba made a kick off. With a little luck, JMS Bileca's Jacinto Recife got control of the ball when Pedro Augusto Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacinto Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca Simões in the 55th minute of the match. Jacinto Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Simões, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Luiz Guilherme Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tadeu Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcos Melo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Recife. That made the score 0-3 in the 61 minute of play. In the 65th minute Zeca Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Recife was a little too slow when Artur Capixaba got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 0-4. After 72 played minutes PQL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Abel Pirani. Luiz Guilherme Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadeu Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Abel Pirani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PQL F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JMS Bileca the free kick. After 90 played minutes PQL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Abel Pirani. Marcos Melo scored 0-5 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Recife, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
