The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeu Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Arce in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Veiga notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of PQL F.C.'s Tadeu Valle. Tadeu Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 85th minute, one of Eagles AC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eagles AC. Marcos Melo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Nóbrega having to interfere. After 97 minutes of play PQL F.C.'s Zeca Simões was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 97 played minutes PQL F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Simões. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Eagles AC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
