Quincos SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeu Abajas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Cauã Souto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Quincos SC's Cícero Maia. Cícero Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tadeu Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Maia having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Fabiano Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quincos SC and the Internacionale players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Quincos SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Internacionale:s goal. When the match had been going on for 20 minutes, Internacionale's João Carlos Nunes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cícero Maia. With a little luck, Quincos SC's Cícero Maia got control of the ball when Cauã Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Tadeu Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internacionale's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeu Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cícero Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauã Souto in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Quincos SC's goalkeeper Cícero Maia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cauã Souto. After a rather tough play, Quincos SC's Kauan de Amaral got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quincos SC's goalkeeper Cícero Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tadeu Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauã Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Maia having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cauã Souto to make the kick off. Internacionale's Cauã Souto got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 56 minutes of play, Internacionale's Tadeu Abajas made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cícero Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Cauã Souto put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cícero Maia. In the 80th minute, Cauã Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82ndth minute of the game Cauã Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quincos SC's Cícero Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anselmo Prestes's late challenge caught a Quincos SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anselmo Prestes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Internacionale getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Anselmo Prestes hit a great ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 85th minute, when Quincos SC's William Donatello after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Alexsandro Massa in Internacionale's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. In the 87th minute, Fonso Bucaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haroldo de Godoi in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexsandro Massa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tadeu Abajas struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Cícero Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internacionale. 97 minutes into the match, Quincos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Abajas came free, but Cícero Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Internacionale's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
