Duda Bueno hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 11 played minutes Jauaraita got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fabiano Cordeiro. Gualter Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Santos having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Marco Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jauaraita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geraldo de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Paulo Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Santos having to interfere. A collision led to Jauaraita getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Douglas Tavares hit a great ball. Marco Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Geraldo de Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Túlio Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo da Costa's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the match, Jauaraita's goalkeeper Túlio Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Paulo Meirelles. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualter Perez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marco Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Barros having to interfere. Marco Netto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Geraldo de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Dedos Futebol Clube's zone, Geraldo de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandro Barros came out of the goal and Geraldo de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandro Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo de Moraes in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Marco Netto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sandro Barros, 1-2. 71 minutes into the match, Jauaraita's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Paulo Meirelles came free, but Túlio Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dedos Futebol Clube booed when Jauaraita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Santos, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Jauaraita's Geraldo de Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sandro Barros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Netto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sandro Barros. That made the score 1-3 in the 80 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Gualter Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dedos Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Gualter Perez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gualter Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. In the 97th minute Pedro Paulo Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
