Spectators: 6380 (Terracing: 5380, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Quincos SC's Haroldo de Godoi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Quincos SC's Reynaldo Trevisan got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Kléber Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, ESCOLHIDOS FOOT. CLUB's Yan Tavares got a free kick in the 11th minute. ESCOLHIDOS FOOT. CLUB's Teodoro Mattos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save ESCOLHIDOS FOOT. CLUB from getting a goal against them. Jorge Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Maia having to interfere. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quincos SC's goalkeeper Cícero Maia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Quincos SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Hortêncio Dionísio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cícero Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Kléber Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESCOLHIDOS FOOT. CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber Sarmento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorge Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Jorge Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESCOLHIDOS FOOT. CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. ESCOLHIDOS FOOT. CLUB's Jorge Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Quincos SC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ESCOLHIDOS FOOT. CLUB:s goal. Adelino Britto walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Quincos SC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Reynaldo Trevisan hit a great ball. The supporters of ESCOLHIDOS FOOT. CLUB booed when Quincos SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Teodoro Mattos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo de Godoi in the 69th minute of play forced ESCOLHIDOS FOOT. CLUB's goalkeeper Teodoro Mattos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Quincos SC's Ademar Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Mattos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jaime Tinoco hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jorge Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cícero Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Mattos came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Quincos SC's Ademar Carneiro. But to his dismay, Ademar Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hortêncio Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cícero Maia having to interfere. The Quincos SC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
