Mateus Melo's late challenge caught a Delfino SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeu Baiano in the 21st minute of play forced Quincos SC's goalkeeper Cícero Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Quincos SC's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeu Baiano came free, but Cícero Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
