Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5473, Seating: 1677, VIP seats: 145) Jauaraita's Marco Netto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Sergio Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sergio Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Túlio Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Túlio Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Martins in the 22nd minute of play. Marco Netto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ian Abbott came out and tried to block the shot, but Marco Netto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percy Martins in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Túlio Santos saved Jauaraita from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, Percy Martins made a precise shot to the right of Túlio Santos. Jauaraita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Túlio Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Ladio in the 36th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Marco Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jauaraita's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Netto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ian Abbott breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Geraldo de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Abbott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Netto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Percy Martins to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Marco Netto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jauaraita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Netto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sergio Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Jauaraita's Juvenal Velasco seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Juvenal Velasco the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jauaraita protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Juvenal Velasco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jauaraita! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Martins in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Túlio Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match Sergio Ladio climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-2 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Túlio Santos. Sergio Ladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jauaraita's Geraldo de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jauaraita's Túlio Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Percy Martins in the 83rd minute of play. Túlio Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Percy Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Geraldo de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ian Abbott tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Jauaraita booed when Noviscky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Koehler didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Noviscky supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Noviscky would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
