Sauva SS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Luís Gustavo Novaes scored to the left of an out of position Osvaldo Lira, making the score, 1-0. Luís Gustavo Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Loureiro in the 26th minute of the match. If Anselmo da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Loureiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Loureiro in the 57th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sauva SS's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Gustavo Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Lira having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Augusto Loureiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jacinto Paraibano, 2-1. A collision led to Flucarmo F.C getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Oséias França hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Augusto Loureiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacinto Paraibano was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sauva SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Flucarmo F.C.
