A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Cláudio Amaral with Antônio Siqueira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fellipe Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Custódio having to interfere. Audax Paulista's Sílvio Luiz Paraense got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cláudio Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LuDrum's protests and gave Cláudio Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LuDrum's Cláudio Amaral got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some careless play in the LuDrum defense, Fellipe Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albertinho Custódio. The LuDrum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albertinho Custódio should have stopped the shot. After the first half LuDrum were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fellipe Toscano was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, LuDrum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Macedo to maneuver through the defense. Sílvio Luiz Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Albertinho Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertinho Custódio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fellipe Toscano's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, LuDrum's goal looked a bit too open when Fellipe Toscano came free, but Albertinho Custódio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind LuDrum's goalkeeper Albertinho Custódio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fellipe Toscano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albertinho Custódio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Audax Paulista booed when LuDrum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benê Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albertinho Custódio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Audax Paulista's Fellipe Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Recife in the 81st minute of play forced Audax Paulista's goalkeeper Thomás Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Barral hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Fellipe Toscano sped through LuDrum's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albertinho Custódio. Albertinho Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Toscano in the 90th minute of the match. Thomás Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Soeiro in the 91st minute. When Audax Paulista's Fellipe Toscano in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Albertinho Custódio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Toscano in the 97th minute of the match. Audax Paulista were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
