Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Juninho da Fonseca made the kick off and thus started the match. Raposa's Anísio Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho da Fonseca in the 3rd minute of play. Hélio Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Raúl Porto came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Raposa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Porto couldn't finish the play. Goianesia's Rodolfo Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Goianesia from getting a goal against them. Falcão Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio Simões having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, Raposa's Raúl Porto made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Raposa's Dagoberto Vides got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Hélio Souza struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Rodolfo Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Raposa. Hélio Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes, Reginaldo Sarmento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Goianesia and the Raposa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Goianesia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reginaldo Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Raposa's Raúl Porto came free and shot a quick shot against goal 47 minutes in the game, fortunately Rodolfo Monteiro had problems saving as it came toward the left post.

The wind increased when Hélio Souza made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Raúl Porto sped through Goianesia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodolfo Monteiro. After a rather tough play, Raposa's Emílio da Silva got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Goianesia's goal looked a bit too open when Hélio Souza came free, but Rodolfo Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hélio Souza's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the match, Juninho da Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anísio Simões. Raposa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juninho da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. When Hélio Souza came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Raposa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélio Souza couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Souza in the 91st minute of play forced Goianesia's goalkeeper Rodolfo Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Juninho da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute Hélio Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raposa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
