The referee ignored FerVentClub's protests and gave Álvaro Goiano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sauva SS booed when FerVentClub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesinha Abraão during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
