Albertinho Custódio came out of the goal and Frédson Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Almir Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albertinho Custódio having to interfere. When Tiaguinho Recife fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LuDrum's protests and gave Tiaguinho Recife a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, LuDrum's Tiaguinho Recife got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 10 played minutes LuDrum got a freekick which was hit by Tiaguinho Recife. In the 13th minute of the match Cesinha Abraão shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albertinho Custódio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 14th match minute, FerVentClub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Moreira to maneuver through the defense. FerVentClub's Oscar Bernardi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FerVentClub from getting a goal against them. FerVentClub's Oscar Bernardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo França in the 19th minute of play. If Almir Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind LuDrum's goalkeeper Albertinho Custódio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Bernardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo França, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Albertinho Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Almir Peixoto to strike the kick off in the second half. Frédson Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Albertinho Custódio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frédson Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. Almir Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Albertinho Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albertinho Custódio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes, Almir Peixoto made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. LuDrum's Albertinho Custódio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FerVentClub booed when LuDrum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cláudio Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rodrigo França had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Bernardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Macedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Almir Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Albertinho Custódio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LuDrum's Albertinho Custódio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save LuDrum from getting a goal against them. After 95 minutes of play, FerVentClub's Frédson Moreira made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertinho Custódio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded FerVentClub left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than LuDrum.
