In the 11th minute, Raimundo Berger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardinho Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Palmares AD's Ricardinho Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Palmares AD from getting a goal against them. Ricardinho Prestes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when RB Miguelense's Cido dos Santos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Ricardinho Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Berger in the 28th minute of play. Cido dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Prestes having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Raimundo Berger took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Ricardinho Prestes to make any attempt to save it. Palmares AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Raimundo Berger 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 5-0. Cido dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Prestes having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Raimundo Berger took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Ricardinho Prestes to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ricardinho Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The Palmares AD fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Palmares AD's Jânio Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raimundo Berger took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Prestes. Ricardinho Prestes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Cido dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Cido dos Santos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardinho Prestes. Palmares AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cido dos Santos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Cido dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Prestes having to interfere. Walmir Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Raimundo Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, RB Miguelense's Mathias Palmeira got a free kick in the 96th minute. Walmir Simão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Celso Machado. RB Miguelense's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee ended the match the RB Miguelense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
