Rodolfo Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Celso Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Raimundo Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RB Miguelense booed when Queimados AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Vieira didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Berger to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, RB Miguelense's Cido dos Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiaguinho Moreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Machado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as RB Miguelense's Cido dos Santos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiaguinho Moreira. That made the score 1-2 after 68 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cido dos Santos got free with Tiaguinho Moreira in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 75 minutes into the game, Mathias Palmeira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RB Miguelense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Queimados AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, RB Miguelense's Mathias Palmeira got a free kick in the 75th minute. Celso Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Vieira in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in RB Miguelense's zone, Rodolfo Vieira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Machado came out of the goal and Rodolfo Vieira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Vieira in the 84th minute of play forced RB Miguelense's goalkeeper Celso Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Arthur Cerezo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A collision led to RB Miguelense getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Raimundo Berger hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the RB Miguelense players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
