Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Silveira in the 4th minute of play forced Morros's goalkeeper Mané Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Clube de Regatas do Flame's zone, Gil de Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime dos Santos came out of the goal and Gil de Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Sá in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute Jano Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morros's Mané Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Soares in the 15th minute of play. Roger Bastos took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Abraão. Mané Abraão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, Kléber Sá hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Morros's Mané Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Silveira in the 22nd minute of play. If Kléber Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Cerezo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. Denílson Araújo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute Clemente Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléber Sá made a kick off. Morros's Mané Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jano Soares in the 53rd minute of play. Mané Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Jano Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 57 in the game by Clemente Silveira from a close distance when the talented Mané Abraão managed to make a qualified save. Morros's players were relieved. Mané Abraão was a little too slow when Jano Soares got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-4. 79 minutes into the match, Morros's goalkeeper Mané Abraão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Silveira. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jano Soares got free with Mané Abraão in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clemente Silveira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Mané Abraão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Morros's Mané Abraão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Morros from getting a goal against them. Mané Abraão made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Álvaro Fantini sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Silveira scored 0-5 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mané Abraão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clube de Regatas do Flame played a much better game than Morros and deserved their victory. The Morros players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
